After the success of 1000caminos that received about 600.000 visits in previous editions, nearly 6.000 participations and distributed more than 500 prizes, starts now the new edition of this contest inspired in the Camino de Santiago.

1000Caminos was born in 2010 for the of Xacobeo Year, being Martín Códax the official wine. The aim was encouraging the Camino de Santiago. After these six editions, the goal of converting it in a point of meeting for pilgrims and lovers of the Camino, to be able to share his experiences was managed.

The competition, as in the rest of editions, divides into three categories: photos, stories and secret places. Monthly there will be three winners for category that will get different packs of wine Martín Códax, the notebook of the Pilgrim, a small agenda with the essential data for any traveller, and an wine tourism ticket to visit the facilities of the winery and its vineyards. Winners of these prizes, more than 80 in this edition, will be chosen through popular vote. The competitors who receive more votes and, in turn, who reach a bigger punctuation will be winning.

When finishing the competition there will be as well three final winners, one for category. They will be chosen for a professional jury that will decide the three contestants who will have the opportunity of carrying out an unforgettable journey that combines the nice experience of visiting one European capital with the discovery of the most emblematic wineries.

Prizes, which keep in this occasion, consist of the following journeys of 6 days for two people:

– Competition of photography: 3 days in Paris +3 days in the Burgundy + visit to an important winery of the area.

– Competition of stories: 3 days in Frankfurt +3 days in Mosel-Saar-Ruwer + visit to an important winery of the area.

– Competition of secret places: 3 days in Venice +3 days in the Toscana+ visit to an important winery of the area.
