This morning (the 10th of October 2012) the vice-president of the winery, Ram\u00f3n Barral, signed an agreement of collaboration with the Sociedade de Xesti\u00f3n do Plan Xacobeo with the aim of preserving the cultural patrimony related to the Camino de Santiago and of encouraging this route of pilgrimage.<\/p>\n

In the event, besides the vice-president and the director of Bodegas Mart\u00edn C\u00f3dax, Juan A. V\u00e1zquez Gancedo, were present D. Jos\u00e9 Paz Gestoso, Sociedade de Xesti\u00f3n do Plan Xacobeo and D. Marcial Rodr\u00edguez Su\u00e1rez also of this society.<\/p>\n

With this agreement, the intention of both entities of preserving, restoring and protecting the cultural patrimony created about the Camino de Santiago is confirmed. Bodegas Mart\u00edn C\u00f3dax, conscious of the relevance of this route of pilgrimage and of the importance of his promotion, it is also tied up with the Camino de Santiago. Like this, in inverse meaning to that of the pilgrims, Bodegas Mart\u00edn C\u00f3dax does the Camino, initiating his trajectory in 1985 into the R\u00edas Baixas of Galicia, for afterwards to be installed in the Bierzo as in the Rioja.<\/p>\n
