After four days of competition, gathering <strong>110 boats<\/strong> of 17 different nationalities, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.palmavela.com\/principal\/index_sp.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gastra PalmaVela<\/a> has shown to be a referent among the big international regattas.<\/p>\n<p>Meteorology did not help the sailors from the 13 different categories, but the show did go on anyway.<\/p>\n<p>The boats knew how to take advantage of the little wind they had, but in the end, the dutch <em>Lionheart <\/em>won in the <strong>Maxi <\/strong>category.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>TP52 <\/strong>has been tight. Even if five boats have gotten partial victories, the <em>Quantum Racing <\/em>was the one to win the leadership. In <strong>IRC,<\/strong> the final duel was a competition between the <em>Music <\/em>and the <em>Dos Much<\/em> even if, in the end, the first one has reached the first position.<\/p>\n<p>Seven one-design boats were competing in the <strong>Swan 45<\/strong> category for the first time, with a final victory for <em>Elena Nova.<\/em> A record has also been added to this regatta, since the <strong>Wally <\/strong>category has finished with a different boat leading the board every day We did not know who would win the title until the end, and with just a point between two contestants which has finally favored the <em>J One. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>The other categories have also enjoyed Palma. Both <strong>J80, Flying Fifteen<\/strong> and <strong>Dragon <\/strong>completed eight races. In the <strong>J80<\/strong> category, <em>HM Hotels<\/em> won the title. In <strong>Flying Fifteen<\/strong>, the <em>Fine Fettle<\/em> won and in the <strong>Dragon<\/strong> category, the <em>Gunter <\/em>dominated from beginning to end.<\/p>\n<p>The organisation distributed the 36 <strong>Singular Kitchen ORC<\/strong> members into four different groups. In <strong>ORC 0<\/strong>, the <em>Grupo Cl\u00ednico Dr. Luis Sen\u00eds<\/em> won the title; in <strong>ORC 1<\/strong>, it was <em>Fyord-Maverta; <\/em>in <strong>ORC 2<\/strong>, <em>Just the Job<\/em> won and finally, the <em>Sirpy<\/em> won in <strong>ORC 3-4. <\/strong>Among the classics, the <em>Sonata<\/em> won the<strong> Bermudiano <\/strong>title while the <em>Moonbeam IV <\/em>won the <strong>Cangreja <\/strong>category.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, the <strong>Adaptive Sailing<\/strong> winners were <em>Fundaci\u00f3n Alex 1<\/em> in the <strong>Hansa 303 Individual<\/strong> category and the <em>Fundaci\u00f3n Handisport 1<\/em> in the <strong>Hansa 303 Double<\/strong> category.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rcnp.es\/index\/index_sp.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Real Club N\u00e1utico de Palma<\/em> <\/a>( The Palma Marina) and <a href=\"www.rfev.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the <em>Real Federaci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola de Vela<\/em> <\/a>(Spanish Sailing Federation) organised the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.palmavela.com\/principal\/index_sp.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gaastra PalmaVela <\/a>regatta, collaborating with the Federaci\u00f3n Balear de Vela (Baleares Sailing Federation), the Club N\u00e1utic S\u2019Arenal (S\u2019Arenal\u2019s Sailing Club) and the Autoridad Portuaria de Balears (Balear Port Authority).<\/p>\n<\/article>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;
