Three days of regattas put end to the Copa Gitana Martín Códax of classic boats. Celebrated in Getxo, it has converted in one of the most important competitions to Spanish level in its category, counting this year with more than 30 competitors. The editions carried out in this format are already 15.
The Real Maritime Club of Cove-Real Sporting Club de Getxo-Bilbao was the place chosen for the delivery of prizes. Our delegate in Vizcaya, Jose Ramón Arbide, was the one in charge of granting them.
The “Asti V“, of Ibon Basañez, obtained the first prize in the category of period sailboats; the “Artako“, of Juan Olabarry, obtained it in the classic ones and the “Taramay Urbegi“, of David Fernández, stood up with the first place in the category Espirit of tradition.
Finally, in the category J80 the “office” imposed itself “Bufete Barrilero and Asociados”.
