Sustainability

Winegrowers, Galicians
and sustainable

At Bodegas Martín Códax, we understand sustainability as a journey of continuous improvement that we share with our winegrowers, employees and local community. Every day, we work to reduce our impact, care for natural resources and contribute to the development of our region, aware that preserving Val do Salnés is a collective responsibility.
Our commitment is to keep moving forward, learning and adopting new practices that allow us to craft quality wines while respecting the balance between winegrowing activity, people and the environment.

Our origins: Val do Salnés, tradition and wine-growing region

Since its foundation, Bodegas Martín Códax has been rooted in the heart of the Val do Salnés, a region that defines the character of our wines. What began as a collaborative project among winegrowers has become a legacy that combines tradition, expertise and respect for the land.

Each bottle reflects the deep connection we have with this region, its culture and its people, and represents our commitment to preserving the identity of this unique land.

Social impact: commitment to the community and local development

Sustainability is built by people. We work closely with over five hundred wine-growing families, promoting local employment and strengthening the economy of the Val do Salnés region. We support culture and collaborate with environmental, educational and social organisations, creating a positive and lasting impact on our community.

Our model integrates environmental, social, economic and governance sustainability, ensuring that every action serves a genuine purpose and contributes to the well-being of the people who are part of our project.
