We have renewed the Sustainable Wineries for Climate Protection certification, the sustainability standard for the wine industry. This is yet another step that reflects our ongoing commitment to the region, the vineyards, and the people.
The SWfCP label enables a rigorous and verifiable assessment of wineries’ performance across various areas-environmental, social, economic, and governance—in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Thanks to its system of external audits, it also ensures transparency and continuous improvement within the sector.
A team effort
If there’s one thing we know for sure, it’s that this progress wouldn’t be possible without the people who are part of Martín Códax.
Passing this recertification and doing so while improving our results is a testament to the collective commitment of our entire team, which works every day to ensure that our project continues to grow in a responsible manner.
Looking to the future with the same philosophy
The SWfCP certification is based on a model of continuous improvement, which drives us to keep moving forward and set new sustainability goals for ourselves.
With this recertification, we remain committed to responsible growth, staying true to our cooperative roots and the values that have guided us from the very beginning: respect for the land, innovation, and a commitment to making a positive impact on our community.
