A very specific plot in el Valle del Salnés, an overripe vineyard, the viticulture taken to the extreme, albariño grapes with an exceptional pinky shade… These are the ingredients of our Martín Códax Vindel, a unique Rías Baixas, at the level of the world’s greatest white wines.
We are not the only ones to say. Critics also highlight the virtues of this wine and to show you how, the last ones helping with that have been the tasting committee members of « La Guía de Vinos Gourmets 2017 » who have included our Martín Códax Vindel in their roll of honor, placing it on the highest part of the oenologic national scene.
Consisting of 23 professionals during this edition, the committee gave 97 points to our albariño, making it the wine with the best score among more than 4.000 wines which have also been tasted. The Guía de Vinos Gourmets 2017 described it as « Very bright and structured, fresh, tasty and with a persistent final overall sensation »
Grupo Gourmets has also included among the best positions of the record book another one of our great wines: Martín Códax Gallaecia. In this case, the first late harvested wine in Rías Baixas has collected 94 points.
