Only a year after being chosen “Best Winery” by the wine guide “Guía de vinos Sin Mala Uva”, they have named Bodegas Martín Códax “Best Cooperative Group of the year” in their new edition.
This new award has been given to us because of the way we treat the single varietal wines, since this guide, written by the journalist Ernesto Gallud, is the first publication which is entirely dedicated to single varietal wine making.
We knew about this award last month, on November 27, during the publication’s new edition presentation gala which has been chosen as the « Best European Wine Book of the World » in the Gourmand Awards 2015.
This guide provides our wines with high scores, like the 93 points we have received for Martín Códax Lías and Martín Códax Vindel or the 92 points given to Organistrum and Martín Códax Gallaecia among others.
These high scores are the reason Bodegas Martin Códax has received this award.
