Martín Códax Vindel albariño, has just been awarded by the Guide of Wines 2015 of the magazine La Semana Vitivinícola as the Best White Wine, after getting the best punctuation among all the presented wines.
Martín Códax Vindel achieved 97 points in this important guide of wines. It is the highest punctuation received in the category of white wines, between the 370 wines sampled in its same range.
La Semana Vitivinícola, one of the main magazine of the sector in Spain, launched the fifth edition of his guide of wines on the 27th of April. It is a pioneer guide in classifying the wines sampled and marked according to the variety of major grape in its elaboration, betting for the varietal criterion as the best way of connecting with the consumer. On this occasion, they were sampled and marked 1.567 references thanks to the participation of 398 wineries of 67 Spanish producing regions.
María Garrido, manager of marketing of the winery, collected the award in the delivery of prizes celebrated on Monday the 28th.
