Outono Códax Festival

  • The lady of the rythm&blues, Barabar Lynn, and the group from New York, The Chiffons,  go back to Europe so that they opened and closed respectively the Galician festival of "black music"
  • Osaka Monaurail, the reference Japanese band of the current funk, and the charismatic Lefties Soul Connection with Michelle David and Blackberry´n Mr. Boo-Hoo, The Big Jamboree and the Earth Angels also took part of the event
  • The Limboos and Niño y Pistola, Galician bets of the III edition of the festival

The III edition of the Outono Códax Festival approached again to Galicia the best of the named “black music” through a neat selection than mixture the best sounds of the soul, the rythm&blues, the blues, the funk and the rock´n roll of the 60´s and of our days.

The festival, situated again his headquarters in the emblematic Room Capitol de Santiago, had a poster of exception in which, one more year and faithful to its spirit, great world legends, bands of reference to international level and some of the Galician groups of biggest projection will form part.

Thus, the Outono Códax opened and will closed its III edition with two performances of exception, only in Spain and that they mean the return of their protagonists Europe, afterwards of many years without acting in the continent: The Chiffons (one of the most mythical “girl groups” of the 60´s) will offer the star of the world rythm&blues, the “big” Barbara Lynn, both numbers 1 in the main lists of successes of the sixties.

Beside them they completed the poster of the Outono Códax 2013, three of the most charismatic bands of the current international panorama: Osaka Monaurail; Lefties Soul Connection with the voice of Michelle David and Blackberry´n Mr Boo-Hoo, and two formations of the state scene recognized to world level in his respective genders: The Big Jamboree and Earth Angels. In an equal way and restating his commitment with the music done in Galicia, the festival will have in this edition with two Galician bands of reference: The Limboos and Niño y Pistola.
