Robert Parker, the most famous influential figure in the world of wine, has awarded 90 points to two wines from Bodegas Martín Códax.

The albariño Burgáns 2010 (D.O. Rías Baixas) has been described by the critic as a “Best Buy” characterized by its tropical fruit and exotic personality together with its great persistence on the palate. For the second year in a row, the Mencía Cuatro Pasos (D.O. Bierzo) has been awarded 90 points. For Parker, the 2009 vintage of Cuatro Pasos offers up an alluring nose of earthy minerality and fruit notes, such as blackberry. It has also been emphasized its ripeness, length and supple-texture.
